Beth had Shane during her first marriage.
Her husband was in the Army and she was
living with us while she was pregnant. I was even her coach
during childbirth and what a glorious day it was. Even
though I had 3 daughters, there is nothing like being
present & being the coach during the birth of your
first grandchild. They lived with us the first three
months of Shane's life. She knew nothing about
caring for a baby. She learned fast.
When Shane was 3 months old, they moved to Ft. Benning, Ga. I
thought this was the worst day of my life. Little did I know
that 1 year later they would move to Hawaii for 3 years.
Well, Hawaii was beautiful. I enjoyed
visiting them.
But all were glad when they moved back to
North Carolina.

Shane is now married
and the father of a brand new baby boy,
Wyatt, born on December 1, 2005
Well, everything does come around.
Shane is now stationed in Fort Benning, Ga. where he learned to walk.
Shane will be going to Iraq on 7-7-09 for
14 months. please keep him in your prayers.
