Macaroni & Cheese

Cook and drain 2 cups elbow macaroni
have ready 2 cups grated  sharp cheese
 

Melt 4 tablespoons butter in pot,
add 3 tablespoons flour, small amount black pepper and paprika
stir constantly until browned but not burned,
gradually add 2 1/2 cups milk, stirring constantly until thick,
add 2/3 of the grated cheese stirring until melted.
 

Put the cooked macaroni in a well buttered 2 quart casserole dish,
stir in the above cooked sauce, sprinkle remaining cheese on top.

bake 30 minutes 375 oven.
