Lisa is our middle daughter.  She was 40 years old in January, 2003. She is the mother of our grandchild, Christian, who was born January 28, 2003. So, life really does begin at 40.

Until she became a mother, she was involved with the animal rescue  and wildlife rescue.  She has 1 chihuahua  now but has had many more.

Her Dad got her involved in martial arts.  She did hold the state record of weight lifting in her division at one time.  She is a very outdoors girl.  She loves tent camping in the NC mountains. She also has been hunting, killing a deer with a bow and arrow.

Eric, her husband, is an electrician.

You know you have gone to the "DOGS" when...
You haven't had your annual check up in 2 years,
but the dogs are all medically up to date.
You snuggle closer to the dog than Eric with whom you are sleeping.
You spend more time looking through mail order
catalogues for dog supplies than for Victoria's Secret.
Your trunk has an emergency food kit
for any strays you might come across.
You send out specially made cards that feature you and the dogs.
More than half of your grocery money goes to dog food.
Your desk proudly displays your canine family.
You readily allow them to give you slobbery kisses.
Your mom calls and asked how the granddogs are.
Your dog decides he doesn't like someone and you tend to agree.

I know, who likes opossums, but Lisa did rescue some.

Lisa and family recently moved to the coast near us.
When the job of the local Animal Control Officer became
available, Lisa applied and is now working  "her perfect job".
