Banana Split Cake


Best if made a day ahead.

13 x 9 pan

Crust:

1 1/2 sticks melted butter in 13 x 9 pan
mash  in crushed graham cracker crumbs - enough to make a thick crust
 put in refrigerator to firm up (most times I don't)

in mixing bowl:

2 eggs, beaten up 
stir in
1 1/2 sticks of melted butter
stir in
3 cups confection powered sugar

stir by hand until creamy (5 minutes maybe)

spread  over crust and smooth out best you can

(don't worry, nobody will ever know or care if it isn't real neat here)
---------
top with:

sliced round bananas on top (about 6 or 7)

2 cans large
drained crushed pineapples in own juice over bananas

spread cool whip over top
 

add chopped black walnuts or pecans and/or cherries on top.

keep in refrigerator
